ChäoS;HEAd NoAH

Takumi Nishijo languishes in Shibuya, a crowded district of Tokyo, where he embraces the cliché of the otaku: solitary, with no real-life friends, and consumed by the dark allure of the anime series Blood Tune. When an enigmatic stranger sends him an image of a murdered victim, a clear link to the "New Generation Madness" murder spree, and Nishijo subsequently becomes a firsthand witness to the crime, he is propelled into a mystery of cosmic proportions.

The game, a visual novel, follows the standard format of narrative text and dialogue, accompanied by mostly static background images and depictions of characters. However, in contrast to most visual novels, the characters come to life with animations, and the spoken dialogue is synchronized with their lips. The game's interaction is limited to delusions that Nishijo experiences at specific points during the story. The player can choose between positive, negative, or neutral delusions, and their choices, along with a few yes-or-no responses, will determine the endings that they can achieve.

ChäoS;HEAd NoAH is a revised edition of ChäoS;HEAd, with some textual, visual, and musical modifications, and six new endings that expand the game from three to nine possible endings. The extended true ending is a notable addition, adding another layer of complexity to the game's already intricate narrative. The storylines of ChäoS;HEAd NoAH blend elements of horror, science fiction, and fantasy, ultimately creating a multilayered experience that challenges the reader's perceptions of reality.
